Foreman - Colombo

About the Role

Lead construction gangs and supervise trade work on Maga Engineering's Colombo building and civil projects; ensure quality, safety, and productive site operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct construction workers and gangs on site
• Ensure work is carried out per drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Monitor daily productivity and report to site engineer
• Coordinate material requisitions and minimise wastage
• Maintain discipline and enforce safety rules among the workforce
• Keep daily site diary and activity records

Requirements

• NVQ Level 4/5 or City & Guilds qualification in Building/Civil Construction
• Minimum 4-6 years of foreman or gang supervisor experience in building or civil projects
• Practical knowledge of concrete works, formwork, masonry, and finishing
• Ability to read construction drawings and interpret site instructions
• Strong leadership and team management skills
