About the Role
Manage civil engineering activities on Maga Engineering's Colombo building and infrastructure projects; provide technical oversight, quality control, and coordination with clients and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise civil engineering works on building projects
- Conduct and oversee quality control inspections and testing
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Manage subcontractors for civil works packages
- Prepare technical reports and submit to project manager and client
Requirements
- B.Sc. (Eng.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building or infrastructure construction
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quality systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and willingness to work extended hours
