About the Role
The Ministry of Health is recruiting Pharmacists into the Supplementary Medical Professions Service for 2026, with a mandatory 6-month orientation course before placement at hospitals across Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines as prescribed by medical officers
- Provide drug counseling and information to patients
- Complete 6-month orientation and coordination course
- Serve at designated hospitals and healthcare institutions across Sri Lanka
Requirements
- B.Pharm or B.Sc. Pharmacy degree with minimum 120 credits
- Credit pass in Chemistry at A/L
- Sri Lankan citizen
- Age 18-35 years as at closing date
- Willingness to serve anywhere in Sri Lanka
