About the Role

The Ministry of Health is recruiting Pharmacists into the Supplementary Medical Professions Service for 2026, with a mandatory 6-month orientation course before placement at hospitals across Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

Dispense medicines as prescribed by medical officers
Provide drug counseling and information to patients
Complete 6-month orientation and coordination course
Serve at designated hospitals and healthcare institutions across Sri Lanka

Requirements

B.Pharm or B.Sc. Pharmacy degree with minimum 120 credits
Credit pass in Chemistry at A/L
Sri Lankan citizen
Age 18-35 years as at closing date
Willingness to serve anywhere in Sri Lanka
