Medical Officer – OPD / ETU

About the Role

Medical Officer role at Asiri Hospital Galle focusing on the Outpatient Department (OPD) and/or Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU). Requires MBBS with full SLMC registration and 2-3 years post-intern experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients in the Outpatient Department and/or Emergency Treatment Unit
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatment
• Liaise with specialist consultants and nursing and allied health teams
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical records
• Handle acute presentations and emergencies in the ETU

Requirements

• MBBS degree with full registration at the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC)
• Ideally 2-3 years of post-intern experience in a reputed hospital
• Experience in OPD and/or Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) is a distinct advantage
