About the Role
Lead the Chinese cuisine station at Cinnamon Life Colombo's fine-dining restaurant, preparing authentic dishes and managing the kitchen section to luxury hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present authentic Chinese cuisine to luxury hotel standards
- Manage and guide commis chefs assigned to the Chinese station
- Maintain food quality, portioning, and presentation consistency
- Control wastage and maintain mise en place at all times
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards throughout service
Requirements
- Culinary qualification or formal training, preferably specializing in Chinese cuisine
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Cantonese, Sichuan, or other Chinese regional cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel kitchen environment
