About the Role

Produce high-quality pastries and baked goods for Starbeans Ceylon cafes in Colombo, maintaining product consistency and supporting cafe kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a range of pastries, breads, and bakery items daily
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality
• Manage mise en place and ensure timely production for cafe service
• Uphold hygiene and food safety standards throughout production

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in pastry arts, culinary arts, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in a pastry/bakery kitchen
• Knowledge of European and local pastry techniques
• Attention to detail and creative approach to presentation
