Merchandiser

About the Role

End-to-end merchandising role in an apparel export company - manage orders from sample development through raw material procurement, production, and shipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse orders and coordinate sample-making processes
• Source and buy raw materials as per order specifications
• Liaise with production teams to ensure on-time manufacturing
• Manage finishing, quality checks, and documentation
• Coordinate shipping and export documentation
• Manage internal and external stakeholder communication throughout the order lifecycle

Requirements

• Degree from a recognised university or equivalent qualification in Textile & Apparel
• 2-3 years experience managing internal and external stakeholders in apparel
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Sinhala
• Team player with ability to work under tight deadlines
