About the Role

Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for steel building and structural steel construction projects. The role requires expertise in steel structures, pre-engineered buildings, and industrial facilities, covering full cost lifecycle from BOQ preparation through to final account.

Responsibilities

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from structural and architectural drawings
Perform quantity take-offs for steel structures and building systems
Develop cost estimates and project budgets
Prepare material schedules and coordinate procurement
Conduct work valuation and progress claims
Perform cost control and monitoring throughout project lifecycle
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years experience in construction projects, particularly steel structures
Knowledge of structural steel and pre-engineered building systems
Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software
Strong communication and organizational skills
