Merchandiser

About the Role

Manage inventory and merchandising operations for a jewelry retailer at their Colombo 3 head office, including stock monitoring, pricing, reordering, and product catalog maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels aligned with quarterly sales projections
• Balance stock across categories by location and sales movement
• Process timely reorders considering supplier lead times
• Manage liquidation programs for underperforming items
• Assign product codes and retail pricing
• Maintain a comprehensive product catalog
• Support sales team with new product introductions

Requirements

• Minimum G.C.E. Ordinary Level qualification
• Minimum 1 year experience in merchandising, retail, or inventory management
• Jewelry industry experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
