Junior Executive – Operations (Shipping)

About the Role

Manages shipping documentation and vessel operational coordination, interfacing with shipping lines, customs authorities, and port stakeholders for a leading Sri Lankan maritime and logistics group.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping documentation and vessel operational coordination
• Interface with shipping lines, customs authorities, and port stakeholders
• Process container data entry and coordinate with depots
• Support principal reporting and payment arrangements
• Assist with liner operations and vessel husbandry tasks

Requirements

• Diploma in Shipping, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year shipping documentation or operations experience
• Understanding of import procedures and Sri Lankan customs regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
