Associate Specialist – Manufacturing

About the Role

Oversee the Medical Packing Department to ensure GMP compliance, quality standards, and effective team leadership at Ansell's Biyagama manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Achieve departmental budgeted targets and quality standards through positive leadership
• Ensure safe working practices and proper safety equipment usage
• Maintain housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance
• Implement environmental controls and hygiene requirements
• Manage employee relations and minimize labor turnover
• Staff department with trained, motivated personnel
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain GMP documentation
• Oversee work-in-process glove and packing material movement
• Coordinate with Production and Planning Departments
• Validate equipment, machines, and processes per SOPs

Requirements

• BSc Degree in a relevant discipline
• Hands-on experience in planning and system handling within manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High perseverance and motivation
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Flexibility and adaptability with willingness to take on additional responsibilities
