About the Role

Entry-level trainee covering tea cultivation, nursery management, crop maintenance, and people management at a historic low-grown tea estate in Galle; on-site accommodation included.

Responsibilities

Tea cultivation and nursery management
Field planting and replanting operations
Crop maintenance including pruning and fertilizing cycles
Harvesting procedures
People management and team supervision
Quality assurance metrics monitoring
Agriculture software usage

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Advanced Level (A/L) qualification within last 2 years preferred
High energy and strong work commitment
Basic English proficiency and IT skills
