About the Role

Senior Legal Manager at LAUGFS Holdings to oversee litigation, manage and negotiate commercial contracts, support company secretarial functions, and provide legal counsel across a diversified USD 300M+ conglomerate spanning 20 industries.

Responsibilities

Oversee litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Manage, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
Oversee preparation of deeds and legal documentation
Support company secretarial functions
Provide legal counsel on operational and strategic matters
Undertake special strategic assignments

Requirements

Attorney-at-Law with 5-6 years professional experience
Commercial and contract law background preferred
Notary Public licence (Sinhala/English, Colombo Judicial Zone) advantageous
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
