About the Role

Finance internship at LSEG Colombo supporting general ledger recording, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting under UK working hours. Closes August 11, 2026.

Responsibilities

Record and verify financial data in the general ledger and reporting modules
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and validations
Support team members with daily activities through shadowing
Ensure compliance with group reporting and regulatory requirements
Assist with monthly and weekly financial reports
Identify continuous improvement opportunities
Develop spreadsheets and databases for financial tracking

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Finance degree or professional qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong communication abilities
Ability to work UK hours
Adaptability in fast-paced environments
