About the Role

Teaching and practical instruction role at a gemmology academy in Malabe. Open to candidates with a gemmology diploma or science/education degree. Salary Rs 45,000–60,000.

Responsibilities

Assist in lectures and practical sessions
Develop and prepare course materials
Supervise laboratory work
Mentor students in gemmological techniques
Contribute to curriculum development

Requirements

Higher Diploma in relevant field; Gemmology diploma (Gem-A, GIA, or DGemG) desirable
Science or Education degree preferred
Knowledge of gemstone testing equipment and lab procedures
Strong English and Sinhala communication skills
Minimum 1 year of experience (gem, jewellery, or gemmological education)
