Corporate Lawyer - Intellectual Property

About the Role

Manage intellectual property rights and provide corporate legal counsel for a major Sri Lankan industrial manufacturer in the Katunayaka EPZ, handling IP registrations, licensing, and global enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Manage IP portfolio including trademarks, patents, and designs
• Advise on IP protection strategies in export markets
• Draft and review licensing agreements
• Handle IP enforcement matters
• Provide general corporate legal advice
• Liaise with external IP counsel in multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

• Attorney-at-Law or LLB with IP law specialisation or strong exposure
• 3-5 years corporate or IP legal experience
• Experience in export or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong research and analytical skills
