About the Role
Academic staff role at CAGS Academy supporting gemmology lectures, lab sessions, and student assessments in Malabe.
Responsibilities
- Support lectures and practical sessions for gemmology students
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations
- Develop and update course materials to international standards
- Manage laboratory supervision and student mentoring
- Contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Gemmology (Gem-A, GIA, or DGemG preferred) OR Degree in Science, Applied Science, or Education
- Minimum 1 year experience in gem, jewellery, or gemmological education
- Knowledge of gemstone testing equipment and lab procedures
- Proficient English and Sinhala communication
