About the Role
Teaching and lab supervision role in gemmology education covering lectures, practical sessions, and student mentorship. Deadline: 10 August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist in lectures, practical sessions, and student assessments
- Develop and update course materials to international standards
- Supervise laboratory work
- Mentor students on career pathways
- Contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Gemmology preferred; Diploma/Degree in Science or Education acceptable
- Minimum 1 year experience in gem, jewellery, or gemmology education
- Knowledge of gemstone testing equipment and lab procedures
- Strong English and Sinhala communication skills
