About the Role
Full-time lecturer to deliver Quantity Surveying courses and tutorials at BCAS Campus Kalmunai, with preference for candidates holding RICS or IQSSL membership.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Quantity Surveying
- Create lesson materials and student assessments
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback
- Offer academic mentoring to students
- Maintain attendance records
- Contribute to curriculum improvements
- Engage in professional development activities
Requirements
- Recognised degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Professional or associate membership with RICS, IQSSL, or equivalent (preferred)
- Proficiency in cost management, cost planning, cost control, and cost reporting
- Practical experience preparing and interpreting Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in construction (preferred)
- Strong presentation, communication, and classroom management abilities
- Proficiency with educational technology and standard software
- Commitment to ethical practices and inclusive teaching
