About the Role

Unimak is hiring a Press Tool and Die Fitter for their Ekala production facility in Gampaha. The role covers installing, setting up, maintaining, and repairing press tools and dies including die alignment, routine inspections, dimensional troubleshooting, and assisting with machine changeovers to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, maintain, adjust, and repair press tools and dies
• Perform die installation and alignment on production equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections
• Troubleshoot dimensional quality issues
• Assist with machine changeovers to minimise downtime

Requirements

• ITI or NVQ certificate in Press Tool & Die Fitting, Tool & Die Making, or related mechanical trade
• 1-3 years experience as a Press Tool Fitter or similar role (fresh graduates considered for trainee position)
• Strong mechanical fitting and practical hand skills
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of press machine operations
