About the Role

Ensure organization-wide compliance with data protection regulations, conduct DPIAs, and liaise with regulatory authorities at Sri Lanka's largest private hospital.

Responsibilities

• Ensure organization-wide compliance with data protection regulations
• Monitor internal data processing activities and assess compliance
• Advise on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and act as point of contact
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies
• Conduct staff training and awareness programs on data protection

Requirements

• Law degree or qualification in data protection/privacy law
• Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan data protection regulations and GDPR
• Experience in a compliance, legal, or data governance role
• Understanding of healthcare sector data privacy requirements
• Strong analytical and communication skills
