Regulatory Manager / Specialist

About the Role

Manage product registrations, ensure food regulatory compliance, and liaise with authorities like SLSI and Consumer Affairs Authority for a global confectionery leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage product registrations and regulatory approvals in Sri Lanka
• Ensure compliance with local and international food/product regulations
• Liaise with regulatory authorities (SLSI, Consumer Affairs Authority, etc.)
• Review product labels and packaging for regulatory compliance
• Monitor regulatory landscape changes and advise business teams
• Maintain complete regulatory documentation and filings

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Law, or a related field
• Experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or quality assurance
• Knowledge of SLS, SLSI, and FDA standards preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good English communication skills
