About the Role

Senior engineering role at CEAT's OHT tyre manufacturing plant in Seeduwa, overseeing industrial automation, PLC systems, and plant electrical infrastructure. Active vacancy closing 29 July 2026.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation and electrical systems at the manufacturing plant
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and automation failures
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Lead and supervise a team of electricians and maintenance technicians
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and plant regulations

Requirements

BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 5-8 years experience in industrial automation and electrical engineering
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalent)
