Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract)

About the Role

Pre-contract QS role handling quantity extraction, BOQ preparation, and cost plans for international construction projects using standards such as NRM, CESMM, and POMI.

Responsibilities

• Extract quantities from design drawings using measurement software
• Generate taking-off sheets and reports
• Build BOQ descriptions from available documentation
• Prepare BOQ and cost plans per international measurement standards
• Conduct QA/QC checks per established procedures
• Assist with tender document preparation and evaluation

Requirements

• University degree in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, or Construction Management
• 3-6 years pre-contract QS experience
• Proficiency in Cost-X, Revit, and AutoCAD
• Experience with building or infrastructure projects in Middle East, UK, Australia, Singapore, or New Zealand
• Strong English communication skills
