About the Role
Pharmacy assistant role covering prescription processing, inventory management, patient service, and pharmacy operations in Colombo 6.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage over-the-counter medication sales
- Assist with filling, packaging, and labeling prescriptions
- Order, receive, and restock pharmaceutical products; check expiration dates
- Operate pharmacy software and cash registers
- File and maintain pharmacy records
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements
- GCE O/L and A/L qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute
- Minimum 1 year experience; retail or hospital pharmacy preferred
- Proficiency in Sinhala and Tamil
- Basic computer literacy
