Factory Manager / Assistant Manager

About the Role

Factory Manager or Assistant Manager at Alu Great Engineering's Biyagama facility overseeing production scheduling, CNC and aluminum extrusion operations, manpower management, and lean manufacturing practices. Salary Rs 70,000–100,000.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement production schedules for aluminum extrusion and CNC operations
• Manage factory manpower and coordinate production team activities
• Apply 5S and Kaizen lean methodologies on the factory floor
• Oversee quality standards and daily production targets
• Ensure efficient utilization of machinery and raw materials
• Report on production performance and escalate operational issues

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Production or Manufacturing Engineering
• 1–2 years of factory floor management experience
• Knowledge of aluminum extrusion profiles and CNC machinery
• Proficiency in MS Office and English communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
