Design Engineer (Geotechnical)

About the Role

Geotechnical design engineer at Sri Lanka's leading construction PLC, responsible for subsurface investigation, foundation design, and slope stability analysis for major projects. Closing July 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Carry out geotechnical investigations and soil testing programmes
• Design foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement solutions
• Perform slope stability and settlement analyses
• Prepare geotechnical design reports and technical specifications
• Coordinate with structural and civil design teams

Requirements

• B.Sc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering with specialisation or postgraduate study in Geotechnical Engineering
• Experience in geotechnical design and site investigation
• Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software (PLAXIS, SLOPE/W, or equivalent)
• Membership in IESL (AMIESL) preferred
