Credit Officer - Ratnapura Branch

About the Role

Manage credit appraisal, analysis, and disbursement at the Ratnapura branch, ensuring compliance with credit policies and supporting business growth in the region.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process credit applications from retail and SME customers
• Conduct financial and risk analysis of borrowers
• Manage credit portfolio at the Ratnapura branch level
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and CBSL regulatory requirements
• Liaise with branch management on credit-related matters

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in banking with at least 3 years in a credit-related role
• Qualifications in Banking, Credit Management, or International Trade preferred
• Strong analytical skills including financial statement interpretation
• Marketing flair and excellent communication skills
