Civil Engineering Specialist

About the Role

Lead civil engineering studies, design reviews, and technical validations for Michelin Lanka's industrial construction and infrastructure projects at the Ja-ela facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering studies, design reviews, and technical validations
• Develop and approve technical specifications and engineering standards
• Drive project performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule metrics
• Evaluate and validate contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
• Serve as technical referent for all Michelin Lanka civil engineering projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience with industrial civil construction exposure
• Strong expertise in structural engineering, industrial buildings, and infrastructure development
• Chartered Engineer status (advantageous)
• Fluency in English and Sinhala
