About the Role
Perform diagnostic laboratory tests, analyze specimens, and report results to support physician decision-making at New Philip Hospitals in Kalutara.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses across assigned specialty disciplines
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure accuracy, precision, and reproducibility of all test results
- Adhere to ISO quality standards and timely result reporting protocols
- Work in a 24/7 laboratory service environment including shift rotations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent
- SLMC (Sri Lanka Medical Council) registration - mandatory
- Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance systems
- Experience in one or more laboratory specialty areas preferred
