About the Role

UNOPS seeks an Infrastructure Advisor to represent infrastructure practice within the South Asia Multi Country Office, providing technical expertise across project development and implementation phases for regional infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide technical advice and guidance on development and implementation of a quality assurance framework for regional infrastructure initiatives
Support design processes including specifications, documentation, and contractor evaluation
Monitor construction activities regarding health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Provide substantive support to program and project managers
Advise on policy application and corporate best practices
Support consultant engagement and bid evaluation
Represent UNOPS at regional forums
Disseminate training and capture best practice examples
Conduct site missions for quality and progress reviews

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fields with 9 years experience, OR Master's degree with 7 years experience
Minimum 10 years progressive senior-level engineering or construction management roles
At least 7 years at senior management level
Asian country experience in international development
PRINCE2 certification (desired)
Multicultural or UN organization experience (desired)
Government infrastructure project experience (desired)
