Junior Production Assistant – Pet Food Manufacturing

About the Role

Entry-level production support role at a pet food manufacturing facility in Negombo, assisting with material coordination, worker oversight, production documentation, packing, labeling, and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly production runs
• Manage raw material procurement and supplier coordination
• Receive, weigh, and log incoming raw materials
• Oversee casual workers during production
• Maintain production records and hygiene documentation
• Handle packing, labeling, and dispatch operations

Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. A/L (Science or Technology stream preferred)
• 1–2 years food or feed manufacturing experience (school leavers considered)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Physical fitness for factory floor work
