Customer Service Specialist – Air Freight Operations

About the Role

Manage end-to-end air freight import and export operations from Colombo, coordinating airline bookings, shipment documentation, cargo tracking, client invoicing and customer queries on Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Arrange cargo pickup and transfer, and make airline bookings
• Validate shipment documentation for precision
• Coordinate cargo transportation via trucking
• Generate client invoices and update job costing
• Send pre-alerts and track shipments
• Address customer and carrier inquiries within one business day

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in air import/export operations
• CargoWise experience mandatory
• Ability to work on Eastern Standard Time
• Strong analytical and communication skills
