Assistant Cost Manager (Quantity Surveyor)

About the Role

Entry-level QS role based in Colombo, supporting cost plans, BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and post-contract administration for Middle East construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, estimates, and pricing materials
• Assist with pre-contract tasks including measurement and tender documentation
• Support post-contract duties such as valuations and variation assessments
• Review contractor submissions for compliance
• Maintain cost records and forecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 0-2 years experience in quantity surveying or cost management
• Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and measurement principles
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to interpret construction drawings (desirable)
