About the Role

Assess credit proposals and manage the lending portfolio across the Northern, North Central, Central, and Southern regions as an Assistant Manager-level credit professional at a Commercial Bank subsidiary.

Responsibilities

Assess credit applications and perform detailed financial analysis of retail and SME borrowers
Manage and monitor lending portfolio across assigned regional branches
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and CBSL regulatory requirements
Conduct client visits and drive business development activities
Monitor portfolio performance and manage early warning signals and collections

Requirements

Degree or professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in credit analysis within a licensed bank or finance company
Trilingual communication skills (Sinhala, Tamil, English)
Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency
Valid driving or riding license for field visits
Sri Lankan citizen or permanent resident
