Deputy Manager - Finance

About the Role

Oversee the Head Office Reconciliation Unit at SDB Bank, managing card centre, CEFT, and GL reconciliations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all reconciliation unit activities including card center reconciliations and CEFT transaction reconciliations
• Provide leadership and supervision to the Reconciliation Unit
• Monitor branch, bank, and GL reconciliation activities for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Ensure timely confirmation of customer refunds
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting processes

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 6 years of finance experience, preferably in banking
• Strong knowledge of bank and GL reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with core banking and reconciliation systems
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
• Full AIB qualification preferred
• Understanding of CEFT/CEFTS transactions and settlement procedures
• Strong communication and attention-to-detail skills
