Tech Lead - Backend & DevOps

About the Role

A senior technical leadership role providing end-to-end oversight of backend architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure decisions for an AI-powered mobile platform. The lead designs secure and scalable backend systems, manages containerized deployments, and handles infrastructure migrations for a fully remote team.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end leadership for backend architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure decisions
• Design secure and scalable backend systems
• Deploy and manage containerized applications
• Manage development, staging, and production environments
• Handle infrastructure migrations and cost optimization

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy
• PostgreSQL database design and optimization skills
• Kubernetes and Docker proficiency
• AWS cloud infrastructure experience
• Comfort working with international remote teams
• AI/ML concepts knowledge is advantageous
