About the Role

Lakderana Investments Ltd is seeking an Officer In Charge to manage operations at its Gold Loan Center in Colombo, requiring 5+ years of gold loan experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience. The role covers gold valuation, documentation, customer service, risk management, and team leadership at branch level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations at the Gold Loan Center
• Manage gold loan valuation, documentation, and customer service
• Lead and develop the branch-level team
• Ensure risk management and internal control standards are maintained
• Operate and manage gold loan management systems

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in gold loan operations within finance or banking
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory or branch management roles
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or Management (preferred)
• G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification (mandatory)
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
• Expertise in gold loan valuation, documentation, and customer service
• Microsoft Office and gold loan system proficiency
