About the Role
Lead and coordinate construction projects end-to-end — planning to delivery — overseeing site engineers, subcontractors, budgets, and quality for landmark commercial developments in Colombo.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Monitor progress, budgets, quality, and schedules
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and suppliers
- Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Prepare progress reports and conduct project reviews
- Identify risks and implement mitigation solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience
- Knowledge of project planning, construction methods, contracts, and cost control
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
