About the Role

Support the Legal Recovery Unit by initiating recovery actions for past-due credit facilities and representing the Bank in court. Involves notarial practice, legal documentation drafting, and legal advisory.

Responsibilities

Assist the Legal Recovery Unit in initiating timely recovery actions
Represent the Bank in court proceedings
Prepare Board Papers under the Recovery of Loans by Banks Act
Handle land registry matters including drafting deeds
Provide legal opinions and advisory support to business units

Requirements

Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public
Minimum 3 years experience in court work and notarial practice
Competency in drafting pleadings, security documents, and related legal documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication in Sinhala and English
Preferably below 30 years of age
