About the Role

Culinary Commis I or II role at Roots Global in Colombo 6, focused on salad production, smoothie bowls, and cold kitchen operations. 1–2 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the salad production section alongside other chefs
• Plate salads and smoothie bowls to presentation standards
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and food preparation protocols
• Follow company recipes and standards consistently
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to the shift roster

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a culinary role preferred
• Certificate, Diploma, or NVQ in Professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail
