Research Analyst (Grade III Class II)

About the Role

Financial market research analyst analyzing macroeconomic trends, forecasting interest and exchange rates, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting treasury strategy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze domestic and global macroeconomic developments
• Analyze and forecast interest rates, exchange rates, and liquidity trends
• Prepare management reports and briefings
• Evaluate investment opportunities across securities and equities
• Support Treasury strategy formulation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of research experience in financial markets, banking, or treasury
• CFA, CIMA, ACCA, or postgraduate degree preferred
• Sri Lankan citizenship
• Age below 35 years
