Development Merchandiser

About the Role

Manage apparel product development from concept through bulk production, coordinating between the NEXT buying office and Sri Lankan suppliers to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage development calendars and critical paths
• Liaise with suppliers on sample submissions and approvals
• Review and negotiate garment costs
• Monitor quality standards from development to bulk
• Coordinate with buying teams on range requirements
• Track and report on order status

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in apparel merchandising, fashion or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of apparel merchandising or product development experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office
