Senior Manager – Legal

About the Role

Lead the legal function of a licensed finance company, overseeing all legal and compliance matters, managing litigation and providing strategic legal counsel to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's legal department
• Provide strategic legal advice to board and senior management
• Oversee all contracts, agreements and legal documentation
• Manage litigation and external legal counsel relationships
• Ensure compliance with CBSL and finance sector regulations
• Develop and implement legal risk management frameworks

Requirements

• LLB and/or Attorney-at-Law (Supreme Court of Sri Lanka)
• 8+ years of legal experience with minimum 3 years in financial services
• Strong knowledge of CBSL regulations and financial services legislation
• Proven leadership and management capabilities
