Credit Officer – Ratnapura Branch

About the Role

Evaluate and process credit/loan applications for the Ratnapura branch of Cargills Bank, ensuring compliance with credit policies and managing the branch loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and conduct thorough credit analysis
• Prepare credit proposals and present recommendations to credit committees
• Monitor existing credit facilities and flag early warning signs
• Ensure compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory guidelines
• Manage and grow the branch credit portfolio

Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of banking or financial services experience
• Knowledge of credit appraisal methodologies
• AIB/IBSL professional qualification an added advantage
