Mechanical Engineer Supervisor

About the Role

Oversee and manage maintenance of complex mechanical systems including HVAC, chiller plants, and building automation at the U.S. Embassy Colombo; supervise maintenance staff and contracted service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of complex mechanical systems including BAS, Chiller Plant, and Air Handling Units
• Supervise maintenance staff and contracted service providers
• Manage preventative maintenance programs using CMMS
• Provide budget input for operations and repairs
• Conduct construction surveillance for contracts up to USD 250,000

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years as project/engineer managing preventative maintenance programs
• 1+ year supervisory experience
• Fluent English and fluent Sinhala or Tamil
• Valid Class B driver's licence with 5+ years experience
