Senior Medical Laboratory Technician

About the Role

Kings Hospital Colombo is hiring a Senior MLT to oversee clinical laboratory testing operations and supervise laboratory staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise clinical laboratory tests across hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test reports
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality control standards
• Supervise and guide junior laboratory staff
• Maintain laboratory compliance records and documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
• SLMC registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Minimum 3-5 years of laboratory experience in a hospital setting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Leadership experience preferred
