Executive - Location Development

About the Role

Scout and develop new restaurant locations across Sri Lanka for Elephant House's retail expansion, building relationships with landlords and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to scout potential restaurant sites meeting company criteria
• Build relationships with landlords, brokers, developers, and mall operators
• Gather preliminary site information including rental rates, dimensions, parking, and utilities
• Collect documentation such as Certificate of Conformity, building approvals, and floor plans
• Assess locations against selection criteria with photos and videos
• Analyze catchment areas and customer traffic patterns
• Monitor competitor activity and emerging commercial zones
• Maintain location database with weekly pipeline reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
• 1-3 years experience in sales, business development, property, retail, or field-based commercial roles
• Property/landlord/broker experience preferred
• Knowledge of commercial leasing and property documentation
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Willingness to travel extensively
