About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform gem cutting and polishing work to export-quality standards
• Follow production schedules for gemstone and jewellery exports
• Maintain equipment and workshop cleanliness
• Learn and apply gem cutting techniques through vocational training

Requirements

• Female applicants only
• Age 18–25 years
• Resident of Akurana or surrounding areas (Aluwatugoða, Katugastota, Pujapitiya, Matale)
• Minimum Ordinary Level education
• No prior experience required – free vocational training provided
