About the Role

Support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations at Hotel Riu Sri Lanka in Ahungalla, overseeing food preparation, quality, and mentoring the kitchen brigade in a luxury all-inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to high standards
• Collaborate on menu development with seasonal ingredients
• Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
• Manage mise en place and inventory optimization
• Conduct quality control and food safety compliance checks
• Evaluate team performance and provide feedback

Requirements

• Proven Sous Chef experience or equivalent leadership role
• Background in five-star or luxury all-inclusive hotels preferred
• Strong leadership and team development abilities
• Advanced culinary knowledge and international cuisine expertise
